Hikari means "brightness," "illumination," or "light" in Japanese. It is the group's hope and desire to spread sunshine into the lives of our audiences. It is our wish to express our energy through the love of taiko playing.

We stay in keeping with the traditions of taiko through a repertoire of classic and modern rythmic expressions. The pulsating taiko performances, fill the imagination with images of the rich Japanese culture and promote the understanding of its artistic heritage.
